I am working on a project for my daughter's grade five graduation. Over the past six years, I have compiled a lot of photo's from her six years at school. I want to make a poster 16X20 with a collage of photos from those years. What I need know is this. When I begin this in Photoshop, do I set the canvas size at 16 X 20 or 8 X 10 and resolution at 180 or 300? I want to take the collage down to the local photo finnishing store to be printed up. I want the best quality I can get. I hope someone can help.
Thanks Gord

Best thing is to call your local photofinishing shop and ask them what resolution they would like. Then set your canvas size to the size you want the finished photo.

ALWAYS set the canvas size to the desired size. i.e. if you want 16x20 poster, set size 16x20. Also, do as Don says and find out what resolution the shop wants.

Hope this helps,
