I've just stumbled upon these boards and was so impressed I registered straight away.

I have had my G1 for a couple of weeks know, and I am not only very pleased with the camera, I am also very please with the effect it has had on my photography.

I was a Canon EOS3 owner before I exchanged for the G1. The EOS used to sit in it's bag, perhaps coming out a few times a month when I felt inspired to be creative.
But since I took the plunge and swapped the EOS for the G1 my photography has been transformed. I take the G1 everywhere with me. I use it at work, in the garden, out with the family....I have taken more pictures in the last week than I did in the last year with my EOS, and taking pictures is what photography is all about isn't it?

I believe, you are not alone. The same was with me. Until my G1 died :) I felt (and feel) like hungry to make pictures. I think, this is kind of addiction, obsession. But I'm not sorry about it. The life has changed to better way. I wish you the same.
