I had to do a search at dpreview to find you name & E-mail address. I found you hanhing out in the "printers" forum. I know it's quiet for now but I think things will pick up a bit soon. I know you will provide some valuable input.

Yep, I headed over to the Printers forum after getting the Epson 1280. I can't believe it, but I have taken close to 5000 pictures with my G1. Of course, many of those were discarded, but I try to find time to shoot pics at least once a week.

The G1 and Epson 1280 are a great combination and I just can't stop printing out my photos now! Scary!

Anyway, thanks for inviting me and I'll be hanging out here to see what's going on.

Should we continue discusing in the Talk forum, or should we start some topics in the other areas?

Hi Travis,
I have had the Epson 1270 for some time now.
My prints look great. I have been using the Matte Heavyweight mostly (all sizes)

I guess we can start in the other sections.
There are so many to chose from. It's just so empty here still.

You can secretly recrut a few folks in this direction. We just need to keep it off dpreview because it would spred to every forum within minutes and I do not think Pekka wants that now.
Pekka will more than likely place a link on his homepage if he hasn't already. That should get interesting.

Thanks, Nahau! I've been around, just not very active in the DP forum because of time. I've posted a bit in the printers forum lately, but that's just because I got an Epson 1280 recently...

By the way, thanks again for sending that print sample a while back when I was curious about the "red noise" problem. The 1280 that I now have is much better in this regard, although it is still somewhat visible. The 880 I had certainly brought it out more, probably because of less smooth color gradations...

Anyway, good to hear from you and I'll be here!
