Another strange Firefox issue

I just noticed when I edit an existing post in Firefox v1.0.6 using the new in place editor, and I move my mouse over the icons at the top of editor, the edit window gets wider and wider with every icon that is passed over, eventually becoming larger than the screen. It doesn't hurt the functionality at all, it's just odd behavior.

Has anyone else noticed this?

That's funny --- I never noticed that before.

FWIW, I tried it using both the standard interface and the WYSIWYG interface, and it's the same. I'm also using v/1.06

also, I had wanted to ask, is there no 'preview' in 'edit' ?
maybe I am missing it and it is there

on a more serious note, for a while now a debug message comes up
on odd days
when it happens I lose a lot of replys which I had ready to post and have to repeat everything
it happened again tonight

What kind of debug message do you get?

I use Firefox 1.0.6 and I have the same bug regarding the expanding textbox, when the mouse goes over the icons.

on a more serious note, for a while now a debug message comes up on odd days


I don't experience this kind of problem though.

lately, now and again, a pale blue square pops up when I have replied to a few posts
it states something like ' debug. sorry for the inconvenience but have to close down '
and then everything is gone, but the computer works ok
as does the forum, except I lost all and any messages I was going to 'post' soon as I finished
usually I have five or six ready at the time
I'm sorry I didn't copy the debug message to be able to tell you exactly what was on it
