Hi all,
I'm looking for some code (preferably C/C++, Perl, or Python) to extract the jpeg file embedded in Canon's RAW file (D60 RAW). Any suggestions?
thanks

Are you looking because you don't have the Canon software? I think you can download it from the Canon site. If you do have it, there is an option to just extract the jpeg without having to open the crw file. On my iBook it took about 30 seconds to extract the jpegs from about 130 crw files, less time than it takes the same software to process one crw to tiff.
If you're planning something else with the code you're requesting, good luck and let us know if it works!

Actually, I want to use my pda to review RAW files from my D60. It won't support conversion software, but I thought I might be able to view the embedded jpeg file. I'll keep looking and report back.
