I just purchased a mk2 and it seems the 15mm fisheye designed for the 35mm, obviously isnt a "true" 180 degrees lens.... I have heard they make a fisheye for the canon digital, but cant seem to find it..... any help would be appreciated.

The only lens that will get you 180 degrees on a 1D Mk II is the Sigma 8mm circular fisheye (Or Peleng 8mm russian fishy). On a full frame camera you get a full 180 degree circular view, and on the 1D Mk II you will get a little bit of clipping at the top and bottom, but you will still have 180 degrees diagonal and horizontal.

a 180 degree fisheye is measured from corner to corner diagonally. there is a noticeable difference between the 15mm sigma and the 16mm zenitar (i have both) on the 1.3x body. you almost can't tell on the 1.6x body.
i had a play around with a sigma 8mm while i was in singapore last year, but it was not chipped so i could only shoot with it wide open. there is still some vignetting but it's definitely way 'fishier'. the 15mm can be used very often without 'getting old' - but the 8mm is a great effect, but it wouldn't get used in my arsenal very much. note that angle is much different - a 15mm on a full frame is fishy, but nearly as extreme as the 8mm on 1.3x
