Had a look on ebay & they're seem to be so many & such differing prices I'm not sure what to buy.
Can anyone recommend seller or advise what to avoid.
Thanks

I bought Photoshop 6 from a German seller (speed-shop24 I think) and registered it with Adobe. This is eligible for an upgrade to CS2. What you have to make sure of, is that when you buy it, that the buyer specifically says it is a genuine (preferably sealed) version - there are loads who sell 'backups' (pirate copies), or that they come with everything you need to get it working (hacks to bypass the activation).
I would avoid any dodgy copies like the plague - apart from anything else, they could have hidden viruses, or worms in, and it is possible to get a cheapish kosher copy.

P.s. it should look like the photo in http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Adobe-Photoshop-6-0-win-mac_W0QQitemZ5810913085QQcategoryZ185QQrdZ1QQcmdZV iewItem

Do you need CS2? Elements 3 has a lot going for it and is a lot cheaper. You can download versions of both from Adobe for trial - they are limited to 30 days before they stop working.

I'd tend to agree with you there Andrew. PS Elements 3 is very powerful. It lacks the channel mixer, and a couple of other things, but it's possible to add them in (EOSAddict uses them).
