Aine in Conncert

I photographed this young Irish Rock star Aine at a outdoor concert recently on a very cold night with my EOS Canon Mark11 using the Canon 28-300mm L IS USM Lens. The settings were shutter speed 1/40 sec @5.6 with a 1600 ISO and the lens set at 180.0 mm(hand held) your comments are welcome. (Ok Guys I know i spelt concert wrong on subject title)

I think the white balance is a little off. Her hair looks red.:D
Actually that's a great shot, considering the shutter speed vs. focal length. Concert photography is tough!

I dont know any Costigans but on checking my local phone dir, I see there are only 4 Costigan family's listed (covering Donegal - Mayo). Re the lens check out the Canon USA site.

Hi Stevie, the 1st time I seen Aine was on that RTE Euro show, but didn't pay any notice to her, then two week ago she on stage at local festival (Carnstock in Donegal) and as you say her voice is fantastic. What part of the country are you based ?

Very nice pic. This is amazing considering you shot this at 1/40 sec shutter speed. I get camera shake at 1/125:)
