Picture editing automation

I have several hundred pictures taken with 1DS to which I need to apply Adobe Photoshop (or equivalent) functions such as level, brightness, contrast, etc.
What software packages are available for automating such tasks and run them on a large number of files in unattended mode?

I tried PhaseOne CaptureOne but there is no tutorial or help.

You can use Adobe Photoshop. That's what I use to process 200 or 300 files at a time.
First of all you open an image in PS. After that you start recording a new action. Now you adjust levels, unsharp mask and so on... you save the file, you close it and finally stop recording the action.
Then you go in File-Automate-Batch... select your newly created action, you choose the folder to process and that's it.
