Love the mood in the second photo. The first just seems to have too much lacking in the shadows. A touch of levels brings out the water detail and also the grass in front of the building

Welcome to the Forum mc41
Certainly is a great camera. Got mine in July and haven't stopped taking pictures since.
Really like your second shot, has a nice moody feeling to it.
Keep em coming.

Welcome to the forums. There is quite a contingent from your area.

Like the second photo. Truly looks like a Golden Coast.

Welcome to the forum AND to photography. #2 is very nice, maybe a tad bright in the righthand corners, but still a wonderful shot!

beautiful sunsets , especially the second shot is lovely

I like very much the ' hint' of the building in the foreground in the first shot
lovely colours in it
the tree adds 'mystery' also
:)

welcome to the forum

Could have fooled me. That second shot is a prize winner.
But look what you have got to work with... A great camera and a lovely country

Just to add my welcome too.

Great shots - you definitely have a good eye.

I have to agree with liking #2 the best. That spray being picked up by the rays of the sun is just great.

Hi Bill, I like em BOTH, but for me, the second shot has a lot of winning qualities, ie; the visible rays of Sunlight, the froth of the wave, and a very nice composition. Oh, and the light looks perfect. ;)
Welcome aboard. :D
