Hi

This is a small islet off coast of French Beach, Vancouver Island. Apart from fading frame I have not touched this photo.

I really like this one, the position of the islet is different and I enjoy the composition in general. Beautiful work!

Grisly,

A few suggestions:
- try flipping the picture. A line going from left to right is in general more appealin gto the human eye
- the colors seem to be a little washed out. YOu might want to increase the saturation a little
- I would try to bring out more color in the sky

Henk - I am not sure what you mean by "A line going from left to right". Kindly clarify and then I will try to touch the image as you suggested, and see what the impression is. Thanks for your comments.

According to reseach (whatever that is) a picture seems more pleasing if lines move from the left bottom to the right top instead of vice versa.
Give it a try. Show the 2 pics to a person that doesn't know the original scene and ask what the best pic is!
