Phase One has now released Capture One DSLR Limited Edition. Is there anyone out there who has experience with the full Capture One and can compare these with other RAW conversion programs? Both the new LE and the new full version will be compatible with the 10D.

Michael Reichman / Luminous Landscape has a review on both ( plus others):

In reading many varied Forum posts, & reviews on Capture 1 LE, I have never seen such controversy of positive / negative opinions / results; Some say it's flawlessly accurate, others that it saps all their computer resources, and gives poor results ( blown out highlights, banding, etc.); makes me wonder if it's "buggy" with some systems?
Oh well, it a free trial download----- surely worth a try.

I have downloaded the trial and cannot get it to work with my 10d. Am I not doing something?

Scot,
Not really a sufficient problem description for us to give much of a diagnosis and cure.

I've used it with images from my 10D and it worked fine. It seems to produce better color but didn't do as well with highlights. I also find the controls in Adobe Camera RAW to be more intuitive.

Read a post, on the Fred Miranda Forum, by a PHASE ONE beta tester.
He stated that PHASE ONE was aware of the "intensive processor use" problem, the "blowing out of highlights" problem, and a few others, and will have a "fixed" version of LE out in about two weeks.

I think that I was that poster. Phase One should release RC2 later this week.

I hope RC2 is out before my trial version expires at the end of the month. I hate to purchase only to find the reported problems haven't been fully resolved. :~(
