I take a picture of a book page with so-called foxing (brown tint) due to aging.
I can get the paper colour OK by varying the color temperature but the ink of the printing turns chocolate brown, thus reducing the contrast.
I can remove the background with the Adobe PS Photocopy function and change the printing to black with contrast, but this reduces the sharpness of the characters.
Can I use a filter in the optical pathm, in Adobe PS, or is there any other adjustment on the Canon 1ds?
