I have I Canon PowerShot S200 and I would like to take photo from a visual basic program. How can I do that ? I have to use an specific dll file ?

Can the S200 be controlled remotely? If it cannot then the ability to do what you want is hindered.

Otherwise it is a matter of getting the SDK and documentation and writing the routines to make the SDK calls.
