Sigma 15-30

Is this a reasonable wide angle lens to use on the 10D. Already have Canon 50mm 1.4 USM and Canon 100-300 USM.

Price seems good at the moment and some good reviews.

Any comments much appreciated.

Hi Paul,

The Sigma 15-30 EX lens gives excellent results for the cost. I presently have one as my WAZoom and have found it to be very good when stopped down (f/8, f/11), but a bit soft at f/3.5 - 4.5.

I'll be checking out the new Canon 17-40L when it is available, but for now the Sigma is filling my needs.

I would recommend it as a best buy.
