Nice pics. I've been hoping to shoot some sprint car racing here at Williams Grove Speedway in my area. I'm thinking of getting the Sigma 70-200 2.8 for that purpose. May I ask what camera, lens, and settings you used? And did you use a filter to protect the lens?

d60 sigma 500 flash and sigma 70-200 2.8 at iso 400 and flash syn is 200 no filter

oooo, nasty wall impact!
Thanks for the comments, I like the results with panning and got some good practice at the airshow but mostly it was needed from my slow lens.
No filter, fill flash and a short rubber hood on tamron 80-210.
Sorry about the signage I like the way the light was coming through on that corner.
