Lowepro offers a wide range of bags to suit all your needs. The better question is how many bags do you think you'll need since its a couple thing. Are you doing all the carrying being the manly one or is the burden going to be shared. I personally carry this http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Backpacks/classic/Orion_Trekker_II.aspx
Have a look around I'm sure one of the popular brands such as Lowepro which i mentioned, Tamrac or even Canon themselves have a bag which will suit your needs.
personally I'm a lowepro fan :D

I bet you can't wait to get your new toys. Just in time for the foliage season. I prefer the Domke bags. I think they are superior to all others, but that's my opinion. You might want to check them out. They also make great camera straps. Good luck with the camera equipment. I love my 20D and I'm sure you'll love yours too.

Any bag recomendations?

I have these bags and am quite pleased with them both:

Kata R-103 Rucksack
http://www.kata-bags.com/Item.asp?pid=275&cid=28&perentId=4&ProdLine=4

Tamrac Velocity 9
http://www.tamrac.com/5749.htm

Both bags will hold my camera with the 70-200 attached. The Tamrac bag is more convenient for things like my daughter's dance recitals and orchestra performances. Being a top-loader, I can get into it in tight spaces and do so very quitely. However, it becomes a bit of a pain when I need something toward the bottom of the bag as I have to take out everything above it to gain access. Also, this bag will not quite hold all of my gear.

On the other hand, I can currently fit everything into the Kata bag. It is maybe 20%-30% larger but also a bit heavier. But, this bag protects and secures the equipment much better than the Tamrac. Due to having 2 shoulder straps, I find it more comfortable to use this bag if I'm going to be toting it for extended periods of time. If I'm travelling, I always use the Kata bag. The Kata bag also has a laptop compartment (up to 15") and has a center section that zippers open to give you access to the camera and attached lens without exposing any of the gear stowed around the outside of the bag so everything else stays secure.

Have fun with your new toys!

Hmmmm.... methink that very soon you will be thinking about exchanging the kit lens with something different :)

Beside that, good choice and welcome aboard !

your best choice was buying 2 different cameras for you and your wife. If you both love photography equally, then sharing one camer would probably end up in divorce lol :D (j/k)

Have fun, those are some cool lenses you got there.

I travel quite a bit and The one bag I use has been great,,not as expensive as Lowpro but easily as well built. Mountainsmith "lumen" about $90..It is a back pack version with lots of room and compartments and the backside opens for clothes or extra articles...Certinaly not enough for two cameras, but two bags would be! www.mountainsmith.com high recommendation from me ...got a lot of miles on this bag...easy, handy and sturdy...Ideal if you are heading out into the wilds....

Hmmmm, I just went to thier website and don't find the Luman there, looks like they replaced it with a very similar "Parallax" which seems to have a few more features like weather cover...

Just remember, never take more gear than your wife can carry. With that said the LowePro AW Trekker II will fit her well and make HER load easy to carry. LOL
