I am having endless problems with XP since I loaded it. My Zoombrowser 3.2 for my Pro 90IS behaves strangely.
I use a CF card reader and don't connect my camera to the computer.
If I make a new folder in ZB to store images I download from the reader the picture appears in the folder screen OK and I can access its properties and all other functions OK. However when I right click and choose to send the picture to Photoshop 5 LE, Photoshop says it can't find the file. If I down load the picture into the default my images folder in ZB it all works fine. It just seems that the folders you create have no address that Photoshop can recognise. I have followed the folder creation instructions carefully.
Can someone please help!

I don't use Zoombrowser, but just drag 'n drop my images from my CF reader to my PC running XP.

I usually do this to an archive directory and subdirectories, numbered as from the camera (G2) I have even dragged folders/directories with files from the CF to the PC auto-creating the subdirectory.

This usually takes only seconds to do from a 128MB CF and has been flawless to date.

Thanks Dale, thats how I have been currently doing the downloads since Zoombrowser played up. As I have been getting my head round XP I can see that the Canon software although convenient is not essential. That said I miss the Photostitch program which I think performed well. Do you know of a good panarama photo program, I could buy / download?
Kind regards.

I use the Photostitch program that came with my G2 software bundle. For my needs, it is fine although I am sure that there are better ones out there.

I know that there was a recent discussion on this with several programs mentioned. Do a search for panarama and I bet you will find them.
