Greetings I am looking for a super wide fish eye lens for my 1D Mark II and 20D.
I currently have an EF 16-35mm f/2.8L USM but I want something even wider.
I want to use it for sports photography, taking pictures of huddles of players very close up. I realize there will be a lot of distortion but this is not really a problem and I think it will produce an interesting effect

Thanks

Tamron 14mm rectilinear would be nice. Not alot wider, but very little distortion.

EF-S 10-22 would suit the 20D.

Full frame fisheyes like the Zenitar 16mm, the Sigma 15mm, the Canon or even VERY wide with the Sigma 8mm or Peleng 8mm (180 degrees view). All of these are EF mountables.
I think the "megawide" <= 15mm rectilinerar are great for archirecture and vistas, but have as much distortion as the fisheyes; just a different kind !

My election after too much research itīs:

Tokina AT-X124 Pro DX 12-24mm f/4 for around $500

This lens it will be my next buy, probably by Christmas. Everybody rates it cery well and outperforms the rest. Itīs very sharp even in the corners ,with very low distortion. Check it and see if itīs in the range of your interest.
