I have been using a stroboframe for years, but I never see and other photographers using them. Do I really need it?

Only you can really answer that question. Using flash brackets are suposed to improve flash photograph I have a bracket were it puts the flash to the side of the camera, but have been thinking of getting a strobeframe, but wasn't to sure of which model to buy. I would carry on using it if it gives you the results you want. But if you fancy selling.....lol

First of all, if a flash bracket cannot keep the flash directly over the lens in either orientation, horizontal/landscape or vertical/portrait, then it is worthless.
Second, flash brackets get used all the time, especially by the photographers who shoot a lot in vertical/portrait orientation. I wouldn't even try to shoot a wedding without one.

Only if you want to take good flash photos, like Bob said.

Brackets put the flash further from the lens, helping to reduce or eliminate red eye, especially with longer focal lengths.

Maybe, but once you get to the really long focal lengths, the camera and the flash are so far from the subject that you won't have red eye one way or the other. By the time you get 60-80 feet from the subject, you should be so lucky if the flash had that much impact on subject eyes.
