Brings back memories of 1999 trip up the inside passage to Juneau. The crazy thing was the guides told us to look for what appeared to be golf balls in the trees.......and that's where you'll find the bald eagles. Once we knew that, we spotted them everywhere. I can remember our day through Icy Strait too. Terrific telephoto shot of the golf ball indeed. Thanks for the memory.

I was using my beloved Canon 300/2.8 with a 1.4X II. Yes, the eagle season should be starting here in a month, so be prepared for my 20 Gigs of eagle pix. :) :)
