Just wondering if any other members have this lens as well. I picked it up on my local Craigslist for a great price. Great range and constant f/2.8 makes a killer general purpose lens. I didn't see it in the archives so thought I might add it. Seems like a rare find.

:D I really want to see a shot from this lens, not much info about it on the net. Does look more like a Tokina though.

I googled it and found a heap of mixed reviews. However I couldn't find any photos taken by this lens.
It's a 2008 production I believe.

I found some on Ebay at darn good prices. If I could find decent photos to review I would buy this.
The reviews I have found say its a good portrait lens.

Sorry guys been busy and have not been able to post any photos yet. Will post some up soon but honestly its a darn good lens for the money!!!!!

Sorry it took so long to post.. Anyways as you can see for the money its quite a fine lens. I find that it hunts to focus in low light but I can deal with that. Straight JPEG from camera. I really like the saturated colors the D30 produces with this lens.

f/2.8- I wouldnt say its not useable, this is straight jpeg from camera

not sure what f=stop but it really sharpens up when stopped down.
