Tara and I had a blast watching Rylin fall in love with all the animals in the zoo!

I like the one before the last.. It shows the strength of the 85/1.8.

Thanks, I really love this lens! Im wanting the 28 1.8, 50 1.4 and the 135L because the USM and bokeh on the 85 1.8 is soooo awesome and has me spoiled. I think that would be a nice little prime setup!

The trip to the zoo was fun but it was hard to shoot with just the 85mm. Im thinking my next zoom will be the 70-200 f/4 IS. I couldnt do just primes. Thats 70-200 would be perfect for the zoo and outside family events. I realize what I need in a lens when Im shooting and I think I have it narrowed down, but we all know how that goes! ;)

Check my Flickr for Naples Zoo shots that I just took with the 70-200 F4 IS that you talk about...

If you don't mind not having the IS, you could get the 70-200 F2.8 L for the same price as the 70-200F4L IS. Then you could use that indoors & outdoors. If IS does not matter, you could also get the 70--200 F4 L (non IS) for around ~^%0 new or cheaper used. You can then sell the 55-250IS
