Fall has arrived in the Northwest. Any suggestions for improvements/cropping/post processing/composition very welcome.

Nice composition Dami, the focus is a little soft, but it has a nice feel to the image. I would bump that f stop to at least f11 and if you are not use a tripod. A flash will really make a big difference in macro shots.

Dennis, thanks for the comments and the suggestions. I did use a tripod, and as for flash, there was already direct sunlight (albeit kind of watery sunlight) on it that I thought flash would be overkill. All I have is the native flash. I was also contending with a gusty breeze. I'll see if conditions today will allow a reshoot!
