Aftre updating to ZoomBrowser 5.5, the camerawindow application no longer works on my Windows XP system. I click on the menu item/button for it and nothing loads. I am using a card reader to import the images from. When I stick the card in the Windows window comes up asking what I want to do. I tell it I want to download the images with CameraWindow, and nothing happens. It worked fine before I upgraded to 5.5. I even uninstalled everything and re0installed the version that came iwth the camera and eeverything worked. When I updated, it stopped working again. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a Drebel, and have zoom 5.0. When I tried to install 5.5 once it told me I could not upgrade from 5.0 to 5.5. Did you get 5.5 with the XT or something? That could be part of the problem. If it's a full install, you might try uninstalling all parts of zoom and then re-install.

No, I just downloaded it and upgraded from the version I had. It let me upgrade without any probelms (well, except the camera window app not working... ;)) I originally had version 4.6 or something like that and have just been downloading the upgrades from the canon website as they are released.

I too expirenced this.

Basically the new version of zoom browser 5.5 wipes out a lot more than the zoom browser program... including the camera drivers!

I have a d-rebel and a s100 and I had to re-install the drivers from the original cd's. Just select drivers/wia as the only instlation option and you will be fine.

Canon website also had drivers available if you cant find your cd!
