Hi,
There are a few things I need a little enlightenment about:
1. I know (or should I say I think) Kodak Endura is a pro paper only but I believe there are several different levels of quality of Fuji Crystal Archive. Is this true?
2. If it is true about the Fuji paper... What are the different papers and their qualities or lack there of.
3. What is your personal knowlege of both the Kodak and Fuji papers both qualitatively (how you feel) and quantitatively (what the numbers say)?
Thanks,
Drew

There are several versions of crystal archive.
Endura is a metallic paper.
I would consider all of these papers to be "Pro" since you need to expose the paper, i.e. wet chem.
They are all good. But this is very subjective.
Feel of the image/what you are trying to convey, media, imager, operator, chem.....
Quite a few variables here.
In my oppinion, Endura rules for landscapes.
Check Fujifilm.com and kodak.com for the media specs and more info.
Then spend the cash for a test print or two.
Seen some dynamite deals on Fuji prints on the web.

Thanks for the post doug.
I know you can get the Endura as an E surface (lustre)(non-metalic) . I have really liked the quality. I have gotten it both from mpix and my local pro lab.
As for Fuji crystal archive. That is what wal-mart uses. Pro labs use it as well. There is surely a difference between the two papers used even though they both say Fuji Crystal Archive on the back.
Any other thoughts or knowlege out there???
Thanks!
