External CD writer

Anyone know if they make an external CD writer that is USB 1.

all the ones i have seen are USB 2.

i am off to poland in july and thought i might take one to burn the photo's onto cd via my HP Paviion laptop. which has standard USB, (2 slots..1 being used for mouse)

Most external USB CD burners are backwards compatible to USB 1.1. However, you'll be limited to 6X burning speed. You can also buy one with a PCMCIA adapter for your laptop.

and i am going to Rzeszow, which is In the south of Poland, i have never been before, my wife has relatives there.

No idea who would sell them in the UK. Sorry.
