Can one use Canon 28-135 IS
lense with built-in flash on D30?
I mean are there shades?
One can not use built-in flash with
say Canon 28-70 L because of shades.
Thanx!

Not 100% sure, but my understanding is D30 is same body as D60 and my 28-135 IS never had lens shadowing, my 16-35L does though. Same problem on 10D, although the 16-35 shadow did not seem as large in the pop-up flash.

Best I can do to help.

The 28-135 does block the bult-in flash on a D30, but only if the subject is closer than half a metre or so from the front of the lens.
