Lots of birds are migrating through Texas now, especially hawks. I took this picture last week of one of my favorites, the White-tailed Hawk. They are as large as Red-tailed Hawks and have very attractive plumage IMHO. You can't see the distinctive white tail in this photo but you can see that wonderful wild raptor gaze.:)

Nice capture of a beautiful hawk. We are sitll waiting for the migration to reach Austin but it was rather quiet last weekend.

Nice capture Mike, a White tail hawk, I loved to see one those. I think the migration probably does not take it to the Pacific Coast.

Beautiful bird and a nice capture, I think most raptors look regal. And I too love the gaze.
