On my holidays I visited this stone circle
It is a very moving and peaceful place, and I was alone there for a while to take some photos

Great Shots, it certainly looks like a peaceful spot.
You were lucky to have the spot to yourself to get these shots.
Is it my monitor or are these on the dark side?

Nice shots but they all seem a bit dark to me. Maybe just my monitor here at work??

Thanks everyone for your kind comments
I think they are too dark too now, but I am having a calibration nightmare here
is this one any better?

Great shots Richard. I was there a couple of years ago but wasn't so lucky with the crowds so I had to PS a few people out! :)

These are great Richard!
I see that you are from Nottingham. I'm going to be visiting friends there next month. Any suggestions of things I shouldn't miss while I'm there?

Nice shots Richard. Fantastic work with the shallow DoF - it's so very refreshing to see a landscape with a shallow DoF. I'll be keeping this in mind next time I go out.

There is a certain nostalgic feel to the second for me - I like them all as well.

Hi Richard:
Yes the second set looks better. As I said my monitor at work is not the best and has not been calibrated.
Great shots, keep em coming.

I like the first image, it's good. As said about the darkness, but it isn't all that bad.

Only one shot is showing up, but it is a cracker.
I'm lucky enough to pass by here about once a month - but you had better weather than my recent trip.

Second shot is superb. It's so simple yet so powerful. Something about it makes me come back to it and just stare for a while.

Thanks Scott
and I'm glad I've done something refreshing :)
I always worry that I'm just doing the same as someone else.
