I've bought an A70 lastweek and have noticed some distortion in the image especially on vertical lines in the image (trees, buildings). It's like a slight fish-eye effect. Is it something to do with the settings ?
I've also found the battery life to be very poor. The original batteries lasted only one day and some 20 shots before a "change battery" message appeared on the screen. I put new batteries in and the same story. I put the original batteries in after this and they were good for another 10 shots. Canon claims atleast 200 shotswith LCD on. Has anyone else had the same experience.
