As you might know, I own an upscale diner. We are closed Monday and Tuesday and after five 18 hour days I am ready to reconnect with my kids and have someone serve me for a change. I started taking my kids to breakfast a long time ago and with out fail we hit our favorite coffee shop for pancakes, eggs, assorted breakfast meats, fresh oj and for dear old dad, a HUGE coffee. We have a blast. Your comments/crit on these monday am shots would be great.

Hey Dad, Look I can hang a spoon off my nose!! Guess how many spoons end up under our table? Dont worry we leave a BIG Tip.

Nice shots Dante!! Your daughter has incredible eyes......the only thing I must object to is the fact that they get you a big cup of coffee!!! (should be tea!)

Wow! My grandaughter has big eyes like your daughter but I haven't been able to get a shot like these. Both geat looking kids.

The lighting on the subjects are really good! Did you use a flash or was it just a bright room?

They only have one type of tea...HORRIBLE. I normally drink tea, but there, coffee is better. Thanks for the comments.

LOL, those are coming. you would actually very much like my waitresses. very pretty ladies.

Thanks. Goign out with them is what keeps me going saturday at 4pm with 8 hours to go and 18 more on sunday.

Yes all natural light. Very light room. Very fast lens. 50mm 1.4 Actually room is like one big diffuser-reflector.

Thank God we are regulars. Owner and staff treat us like family. We have a GREAT time. Mom is really jealous she works Monday am.
