Shot with a 300D with a lens that came originally with a Rabel 2000. The Tamron is out in service right now since the barrel keeps falling out.

Ah yes, the Supra. The "jet without wings". Nice shots. Too bad the right light wasn't more "in the shot", though. Nice, though.

How much bigger can my wing get?!?!?!? :D
I know it was hard for me to get the exactl lighting. I am still very much of an amature so I've got lots to learn.

One thing, though...car looks nice, great color (to me, black is the ONLY color!), etc. However...
YOU NEED SOME RIMS!!!!

Good idea! I might have moved the car forward so the "C"-post would have hidden the gas meter. Interesting username!

Thanks for checking out the car. I know this doesn't really fall under the title but I don't want to waste bandwidth and make a new post. Here are a few shots I got today. Oh yeah and all the hatin about my stock rims...please feel free to continue =)

Nice. 8) Personally, I like the fact that it still has the stock wheels but a giant intercooler peeking out of the grill. :D Paint the intercooler flat black *shudder* and you'd have a sleeper. Well, as much of a sleeper as a Supra can be.

Thanks, but I like how it shows its teeth =). Plus painting the FMIC will reduce the ability of it to cool down as fast since there would be a layer of paint. When the car was stock and didn't have a front mount it looked like a botomless pit in there.

Ballen, yes it is a wonderful effect. I cant wait to get my P-Series Cokin holder to get these filters.
By the way, that car, can reach 4 digit number Horse Power lol
I think we have a couple back home that are at about 10xx HP right now.

Well I know this is going to make me sound pretty dumb but her what the hell, I am an amature, What's a tobacco GND. Are you referring to a filter? I have a set of filters but no holder of any kind, so I just held the filter in front of the lens with my hands for all the shots. Sometimes it was lower then I wanted others it came out perfect. The 2nd shot seemed a little overkill but came out cool none the less. As for the HP figured, one here Chicago put in 15xx rwhp, that's rear wheel hp not engine crank hp, and it was through an auto trans, so in the area of 1900 hp out of a 3 liter.
Here's another pic out of my last series.

Yes, GND means Graduated Neutral Density filter. One half is darker than the other half. The two halves meet gradually (intensity) at the middle. It also comes in colors. Tobacco is a popular one.

Then you sir guessed correctly. I got a whole set of these things free when I was working at Wolf Camera and they were throwing them away.

very good eye with car composition
i can tell you look at a lot of import mags
all the shots look decent
the day shots look better than the night shots though
i've been told to keep any street lights out of night shots when shooting cars

Although I do peek at magazines I don't spend as much time as you'd think. I've just always liked the contrast between some backgrounds that are delapidated, or have big machinery and the form of a beautiful car. Taking night shots does seem a bit harder then day shots but I do like night time photography quiet a bit. And I am sure you know better then me that finding places with perfect lighting at night in extremely hard.
As for the photoshop of the picture I love it. Think you can do the same if I sent you the original?
Thanks

Bruce, yes its exciting to imagine 4 numerals attached to HP lolHeck, I was happy with numbers like 390-450. These numbers usually had 500 FT LBS of torque with them, though. ;)

Wow, very imrpessive :D
And to be fair, it's a bit of a sleeper apart from the exhaust isn't it...most will think it only boasts that mod, but boy would they be surprised lol
Do you go onto http://www.t04r.com at all? I browse that site for some of the best Supras going ;)
I'm glad your hard work has paid off, that's what it's all about, well done!

854fp at the rear wheels? I'm impressed too! What octane do you have to run in that thing?

Sorry I should've specified, this isn't my dyno sheet. I was just posting for you guys to see the kinds of power level reached with the 3 liter. I should be muuuuch lower then that. I am only around the high 500s low 600s mark, this guy is over 1100hp , and my torque should be in the 500s. But my turbo is much smaller. He spools around 5000 rpms, I get going closer to 3000rpms. As for t04r.com yeah I've seen that site a loooong time ago. Cool to visit some times.
