Hi
Can anyone recommend a good online source for different paper in the UK?
After googling, I've come across a few standard sites which sell Epson, but nowhere that seems to do any of the more exotic, expensive papers. Is there a good UK site that offers a decent choice?

Does ebuyer have what you want? www.ebuyer.com - search for "photo paper" (without the quotes), then restrict the manufacturer to Epson (and optionally select All Items so that out of stock items show).

(yes - the one that you know from another place)

Try Tetenal from Warehouse Express. The top end Fine Art papers are about the best you can get, better than Epson IMHO.

Hi
Thx for that. Still not really found what I was looking for, tho'. I was hoping to find more fine art papers like Moab, Breathing Color (is that even available in the UK?), or Hahnemuhle. I can't even seem to find any Lexjet. And I can't find anywhere that has any Epson Velvet Fine Art paper in stock. I must be looking in all the wrong places...!

Ah.
A bit of hunting around comes up with the following - most of which you've probably found already:
http://www.silverprint.co.uk/ seems to have quite a lot of choice - look under Digital.
http://www.on-linepaper.co.uk/acatalog/on_line_p_per_co_uk_Coated_Ink_Jet_and_Digital_Fin e_Art_Media_92.html also has a lot of choice.
http://www.firstcall-photographic.co.uk/scp/Photo_Paper_and_Inkjet/Inkjet_Paper.html has a right mixture of paper, some of which is fine art or thereabouts.
http://www.specialistinks.com/fineart-paper.php - Lyson
http://www.teamworkphoto.com/permajet.html - Permajet, also a mention to contact them about Epson. I wouldn't include them on this strength, except that I've dealt with Teamwork personally.
When I was in London (after one of my infernal hospital appointments, which you know something of the story of, Suse) I called in on Teamwork because I was after a few more unusual bits and pieces. They put in an inordinate amount of time and effort to ensure I was satisfied even though, in the end, I only bought a tripod bag from them. They got straight on the phone to Gitzo's UK distributors (Hasselblad UK) and ordered what I wanted from them to be shipped directly to me the next morning - total price was about 3 pounds more than typical online.
Their main business is high end pro - they had a 1Ds Mark II and a Hasselblad H1 outfit on the shelf, and the guy I was dealing with told me that their main business these days is medium format digital. However, they were happy to help me, and in return I'm happy to spread the word. Give them a ring or email them if you want to try tracking down the more unusual Epson papers - I hope you'll find the same degree of helpfulness with no pushiness that I did.
Teamwork are also the sort of firm that may be able to get hold of something for you that they don't normally stock - you can only ask.
I can't find the faintest sniff of Breathing Color or Moab paper in the UK, and it's the sort of thing that importing may well be a nuisance, not least as the shipping charges will be relatively high compared to the value of the package.

Wow David, thanks for that. Top marks for research! (I'd come across a couple of them, but not the others.)
The 0n-linepaper.co.uk looks especially interesting - they offer a trial pack of Hahnemuhle Fine Arts paper for £20, which is just what I was looking for. :)
I don't know about the Breathing color or Moab availability over here; it's annoying as I've heard such good things about the latter. It would be a tricky item to get from abroad with postage.
