I like it! How many images are put together to make this?

I think it will make a lovely Christmas card. What filter/s did you use to achieve this look?

I used the buzz filter from:
http://www.fo2pix.com/index.php
It is one image that the filter converts into a painting effect.

I really like this effect. Normally I am not a fan of the painting effects, but I think it works well with this particular photo. It looks like a photographed church was glued into a painting. I'd like to see the original photograph also. I bet its a stunner in its own right.

I guess I thought it was several images because for as many times as I've been to Yosemite (hundreds) I've never seen the Chapel from way across the street and it just looked different. That is definately a Christmas Card photo!

I don't normally like these kinds of processes, but this is really stunning! I would send this as a Christmas card! Very very nice!

Very nice shot, and the processing looks good. It could even go a little more so it looks more like a painting.

A blast from the past, but it is nice to see it again.

Every once in a while I will go into a Share and sort by the number of comments. Sometimes this points out good or important shots that I missed, sometimes it just lets me see them again. It's never a bad thing to go back in time and be reminded of something that is worthwhile like this.

I like the shot a lot. However, I have to admit I partially thought it was a fake because I figured the ACLU would have had that removed by now...being on government property and all. :D

Thanks for the compliment. I am flattered.
How do you go into a "Share" and sort as you do?

Right above the first post in any Share, each column has a title, like "Last Post" and "Replies" and "Views." You can click on any of those titles and all the posts will be sorted on that field. So if you click on Replies, the post at the top (well, below and Sticky posts) will be the thread with the most replies.

Yes it's beautiful.

Nice that it was pulled from the archives - it's from before my time here, so I'm fortunate that it came to life again.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I am flattered. Here is the original without a lot of PP. As I mentioned before the "painting effect" was done using the buzz filter simplifier.
