Hey guys, Is the 420 ex good for daylight fill? And will it work ok with my D60 and soon to get 20D?

Absolutely, I've used my 420EX on my D60 and its 20D replacement and it works just fine for fill. Just remember that flash works differently on the D60 vs. 20D due to the introduction of ETTL-II on the 20D.

Thanks guys. I'm still debating whether I should get this one or the Sigma super

I got the Canon for compatability reasons - it's sure to work with other Canon flashes, the Sigma might be there's no guarantee.

I hope Canon change over to radio triggers some time, that'd make a lot of peoples lives easier.

420EX is a very good flash! and that compatability will be handy one day;)

A 420EX is a must have. But if you have the cash then go for the 430EX or higher. =)
