Hello everyone. I currently own a Sigma 70-300 DG f4-6 non APO lens. I was wondering if it is worth reselling this lens at a loss and purchasing the APO version.
The lens that i'd really like to replace this with eventually is the 70-200 2.8, but as I have no real income right now that won't be an option until at least late next summer.
So what I'd like is advice from someone who has preferrably used both versions of this lens. I've found that it's very difficult to get useable pictures at anything below f7.1 - it's incredibly soft and has very poor bokeh. Should I tolerate this lens for a few months, or spend some money now to move up slightly?
Thanks.
