Is a digital limited to a certain number of frames it can shoot? If so can it in some way be restored to start fresh? Thanks for any comments.

I know there is a shutter life span expencay for the Canon D-SLR just as there is for a film camera,... though I can not remember what that is for the D30 D60 10D series. I do distictly remember that for the 1D and 1Ds, Canon made a point of bragging about the life expextancy for the shutters.

Do you mean whether the physical life of the camera is limited or are you looking for advice on something else?
