Hi all , Could you advise on the easiest way to sync camera to hand held light meter . If I leave the meter on factory settings it under exposes .

Are you sure that you have the same ISO, AV, and TV settings in the camera and the meter? Sounds dumb but sometimes it is the easiest thing that fixes the problem.


I did this on a roll of film the other day and overexposed every shot.

I use a Minolta Flashmeter 4 and the ambient reading is 1/3 of a stop underexposed, I just take the reading and open up the extra 1/3. If the reading is really far off maybe you should send it to the manufacturer for service.
