Excellent location shot. :D One small niggle, I would have rolled the car forward just enough to eliminate those two dead looking bushes from looking like they're growing out of the car. ;) Like I said though, just a small one.
WELCOME to the forum.

Thanks! Nothing practical about 400hp but I guess thats the point. The car cannot be driven without a smile on your face, although it does tend to get
attitude from other drivers more than any other car I have driven.

This is the one I traded for the Corvette..

Why would he want to trade down??? That would be like trading a 20D for a Nikon D50.... yeah, like THAT is going to happen.:p:p

Nice car and nice shots!

Trade down? How would trading a Corvette for a Viper be a trade down? As I understand it, Corvettes run between $45-55,000, and Vipers start in the high 60's. (both for new, base models). Oh, and don't bother correcting me on that. That's how much they are around here.

Is that a WS6?

Either way, both cars are incredible...
I love the Corvette.. It's the exact car I'd choose, as that's my favorite color...
I'll be willing to wait a few decades for one..Next week though, I get 325 HP in my Z28.. It'll do for now. :)

I think he was talking about the overall handling and quality, not the price.

I'd have the 'Vette over the viper anyday. The viper's a fast car, but it handles like a boat where the 'vette can hold a candle up to most european sports cars. Same goes for build quality aswell, good enough for the european market.

Eh...I'm not looking to take a Viper racing around a winding track; just driving it on the streets. For that purpose, it handles beautifully. It'd still beat the pants off a stock corvette in a drag. What's a regular vette's 1/4 anyway?

By the way, my brother had a '99 corvette, and I thought the handling wasn't anything too special. It seemed quite cramped, too. I felt like I was in a bobsled. No doubt, it was pretty fast, especially since his had some Lingenfelter (spelling?) modifications (throttle body, etc), but my uncle's viper (98 gts) seemed to be more of a "thrill" ride. Have they improved in the past few years? The vettes, that is.

I believe they have, actually. They done alot of suspension/handling testing at the Nurburgring for the C6, so it could compete with German/Italian/British sportscars in the european market. It can only mean an improvement. :-)

I think they run 12.6 stock. Top speed is 186. I have had mine on the track at Summit Point in WV and the cars skills are well past mine... if theres a better ride
on the planet for the money I haven't found it! Never had a chance to drive a Viper but I hear they are a beast. Of course not there is the Z06 talking of beasts!

Nice ride! Yeah it's a 2002 WS6. Was putting in the 350hp range to the rear wheels.. lots of bang for the buck.. hard to beat F-Bodies for that, including 3rd gens!

Thanks! Took that one with the long lens Canon 100-400mm to get a compressed perspective!

Small block V8's are for punks. OK, :) I admit it ... I'm a punk!

I had an '88 convertable that I really enjoyed until I had to sell it because I needed the extra parking spot in my garage for the winter. Your 2005 is an awesome ride DigitalMan, and a big improvement over the model I had. Enjoy!
