I was going on a walk today when i noticed this Honda Civic , I liked it so i decided to snap a picture. I like photographing cars but mostly am a nature photographer.
Give me any comments and what not, No editing done to the picture except for a border and my signature.

Nice shot... I like the reflection in the window.
If I were going to use this shot for 'something'... I would edit out the aluminum can behind the wheel and out by the side walk and probably the roundish 'leaf' ? looking thing mid track.
But that's all background noise... the subject looks great...
Thanks for sharing...

OMG..My Friend would kill you. He absolutely hates when people mistake his car for a Civic. And they do so many times. He'll get a laugh outta this one. Nice shot though. :)

pardon me if i'm harsh
this picture is just about the laziest uninteresting car picture i have ever seen. honda, in a parking spot, shot down from a standing perspective, and no regard for framing the car. what kind of angle is that? The only thing unique about the car is the aftermarket wheels (and thats not saying much since nearly all hondas have aftermarket wheels), and it's not nearly the focus of attention of the photo. Beer can (?) behind the wheel, a muffin wrapper behind that?, inconsistant background (gravel, pavement, muddy pavement, grass).
Am I the only one giving an honest critique? This is not a good shot. I know it's my opinion but c'mon, this board has turned from honest crits to nut-sack riders.
cheers

Am I the only one giving an honest critique? Well, he asked for comments, but that doesn't have to mean a critique. There's a special area for those, no? So, being lazy, I'd limit myself to "Nice shot", "Crappy shot - looks too dark", etc, & let it go at that unless someone asked for details.
We're going to get all levels of experience here, & one persons first "duck shot" will be another persons "YAWN"! :D
(Still, I might have kicked some gravel over the beer can!) ;)

uneventful in my eyes. just a shot of the backend of a car, not a fantastic shot, but a clear shot nonetheless.

Might be a bit harsh, however I think you are correct. Posting 'Nice Shot!' doesn't tell you anything except someone was too lazy to bother giving some feedback, whether it was asked for or not (I realize I'm guilty of this too). They shouldn't have to ask for specifics because if they're posting here because it should be assumed they'd like to improve.

They shouldn't have to ask for specifics because if they're posting here because it should be assumed they'd like to improve. OTOH, there's a specific "Critique" area for no holds barred nitpicking. I thought here was more of a "Look what I got" sort of thing.
