Any advice on photographing waterfalls. I have a Canon G3 and I'm going on a long hike to Havasu Falls, AZ. A once in a lifetime trip-- and I don't want to mess up my pictures. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

What type of shot are you hoping to achieve? Blurred water, still water? Can you be more specific?

Take a small tripod. This will give you much more creative opportunity to vary shutter speed and get different water effects.
Also slower speeds will give increased DOF.

I think blurred water to capture the effect of movement would be what I'm looking for. I don't have a polarizing filter-- I guess that would be help reduce glare?
Thanks for the input.

That's why I said "tripod" - the G3 won't need a huge one. :)

Yup, and help give pretty blue skies.
