I am after a clear chart for a digital SLR ideal 10D that shows the relationship between iso, apperture and speed against dynamic range.
Is it constant or does it change ?
do you know of any web sites that has this kind of chart or the specific dynamic range for 10D in RAW and JPEG.
Any help would be appriciated.

I could well be wrong, but I don't think there is a relationship between aperture, shutter speed and dynamic range, other than getting the best exposure (which can be the same for varying apertures and shutter speeds). I don't have enough experience with the 10D yet to have any firm suggestion. Right now I am trying 1/3 fstop underexposure to better preserve the highlights. I don't believe there is any chart that will help. Raw mode, according to the DPR review, can increase dynamic range by about one fstop. The ISO may affect dynamic range and if so my guess would be it is less at higher ISOs. but I don't really know the answer to that question.
There is a discussion in the Photoshop forum of Digital Dingus that includes instructions for using Photoshop to combine two images to increase dynamic range. Also, there is a suggestion that you take the picture at a mid exposure in raw mode and then create two images from the one with one exposed for the highlights and one exposed for the shadows. Then combine them in Photoshop. to increase the dynamic range. Fred Miranda sells a Photoshop Action "Dynamic Range Increase" "(DRI) v2.6 for $8.50 that automates this process once you have combined the pictures in Layers.
The link for digital Dingus is:

The two threads starting with "Combining" are the ones to look at.

This is a lot different from what you asked for, but I hope it is of some use.

The dynamic range will decrease when using higher ISO. Im not shure how much..but you will have a smaller range..

You can underexpose on the 10D and pull out the details with no problems and this is just using the 24bit jpeg output I have not used the RAW format because the canon software really is slow on my P3 1000 and it sucks IMO. I have shot some dark pictures and pulled up details
quick example below

I will be experimenting further with RAW and underexposing iso 100 to push it to 400 or 800 and see what it is live VS shooting straight 400 or 800 in the noise level etc..
I have been able to recover some real badly underexposed shots in 1600 in real low light situations and get almost like 6400iso It is amazing to see the details appear as you tweak the curves in photoshop
