A soldier of world war two

I took this tonight outside the D-Day museum in Southsea (Portsmouth) , I've messed around with it a fair bit , any thoughts appreciated (good or bad)

I think it looks pretty good..... very straight forward... this would look awesome if you put it off to the side of a landscape style pic and added a war image to the background in a kind of dreamy, far-off way :)

I'm intending to go back in daylight , possibly 2morro , there are other huge memorials there on the seafront by Southsea Castle , standing with this statue are a ww1 tank a ww2 sherman tank & huge AA gun , the picture of which are not brilliant:lol: :lol: i'm new to night / flash photography , also the bupa reat south run is there 2morro and the have a lot of fancy lights and barriers everywhere , which were a challenge.
