I recently bought this and I was wondering

The inside is meshed and was it actually safe to put my filters in there with no extra protection?

That's what I use. It's actually a plasticized mesh. Unless you use it as a bumper for your camera bag, it's perfectly safe. Tiffen makes a similar filter case, but theirs has just the mesh, no plastic layers over it; after a while the filters cut holes in the mesh. Haven't had that happen with the Slinger one.

I got one also. It works. All the filter cases wind up fatter than you think when they are full.

i had one too. very safe for filters.
i misplaced it, now i have no idea where it went lol
