Canon Rebate help

I'm new to Canon, thank-you for creating this forum guys, I feel and know that I'm on the bright side of photography. In December I will purchase the canon 20D with the 70-2002.8... I shoot sports, the Canon 20d is excellent for this. So when I buy the Canon 20D I'll get....
Canon 20D- $100.00 rebate?
70-200MM 2.8 $100.00 Rebate?
And some one said when I buy 2-3 items I get even more? How does this work?

The 70-200 2.8 non-IS gets a $40 rebate. If you buy any 2 from the list, each rebate doubles, so you'd get 100x2 +40x2 or $280 back. Buy 3 and you get 100x3+40x3 + (whateverx3) and get $420+ So find a lens on there for under 140+(3x rebate amount) and get it free.

280 I think. If you get 2 items, each rebate doubles; with 3 it triples.

Correct, if you get e.g. a 50/1.4 as well, you'll get another 140 + 45 (3x15) ... that's about half the price of the 50/1.4.

So 160 x 3 = $480.00

The flashes don't count towards the double-triple rebates. The 580EX is $20 period. Nice try, though.

ACDCRocks, your math is not correct. In your case it would look like this.

Canon 20D $100 + $100 = $200
Canon 70-200IS $40 + $ 40 = $80

Canon 580EX (Seperate Rebate)= $20


Total Rebate is $280 for the two items that covered under the Double/Triple Form
Total Rebate is $ 20 for the flash which must be submitted as a seperate rebate.
