Not only are the new mods just as nice as the old ones, they are also among the most knowledgeable, experienced and talented people to contribute here.

I appreciate everyone's dedication. It's a tough job, and somehow Pekka has a way of recruiting the best. Congrats and best wishes to all.

I am re-surfacing this because after a whole week on the job, I gotta say "WHEW!"

I did not realize what a big job the moderators (now Senior Moderators) had. Hats off to you guys and thanks for all your patience and tips this past week. I've learned a lot:D :D

A lot of the moderators work very hard behind the scenes to keep the forum running for everyone. Others get quiet forums where nothing much ever happens, so they just sit back, have a beer, and make jokes... ;)

Not just responsibility but a lot of hard work, I used to moderate a few magic forums and it was hard as hell. The forums were about a quarter of this size, so hats off to you... you're doing a fine job. I actually have never seen a rude or inapropriate post on here, so for more than a year now... thats an impressive stat.

I'm sure geographic spread was a consideration in getting the mods grop finalized - this group keeps getting posts 24X7.....a small discussion could have escalated into heated discussion and an armed conflict in less than an hour :)
