I was wondering what size most people shoot with on their camera's. I havea s230 and its really irritating resizing the picture size everytime.
SHould i shoot with M2 and if I shoot with L how do i resize teh pictures to M2 size? does anyone know the dimensions of a M2 size pciture? Thanks!

Given the low price of Compact Flash there's no reason not to use the top setting all the time so ensuring best quality, i.e L
No such thing as absolute "size" with a digital image only resolution X pixels x Y pixels. You determine the output "size" when printing or viewing at your chosen dpi. It's usual to simply scale to fit to your chosen paper size.

I always use the best resolution of my camera. Here is a reason:
If you are resizing a picture, you are actually making a mathematical interpolation of the information got from the camera.
For those, unfamiliar with math: If you want i.e. transform 3 mil. pixels to 2 mil. pixels, you cannot just bypass every x-th row of pixels, it would not look good. You have to completely recreate every pixel, depending on color of its original neighbours.
The interpolation algorithm in the camera is always worse than the one offered by your PC software. The PC is always much faster and it has a much bigger data storage. The software in the camera is always a compromise between speed, size and quality.
