I've been using the 10D CSPro and 10D ISOR for a week now. They are great actions and provide better results than I was getting on my own in much less time. I'm currently reading Real World Adobe Photoshop 7.0 by Blatner and Fraser. I'm using what I learn from the book to make the best of Photoshop and so far haven't come close to what Fred's CSPro action can accomplish. They are most definately worth looking into.

Greetings-
I have many times A/B'ed the FM CSpro action against Photoshop USM alone. I hate to say this, but the CSpro action does not do well on portraits. It works best on landscapes and still-lifes. I still stick with .3 radius, 100%-200% amount and 0 threshold for head shots.
The FM noise reduction actions are another thing indeed. They do work in all cases.

I have had the 10D CS Pro sharpening action for a few days and I love it. I have been using it mostly on Landscapes. It does a much better job than I am able to do.

One of the unexpected side benefits is that the picture processed with FM CS1Pro is smaller. This may not be relevant if you have just a few pictures but I am building a library with over 100,000 images. If you save 300 K per image this amounts to 30 Gigabites.

I'm well versed on USM in Photoshop, and the 10D CS Pro Sharpening Action is simply outstanding! Well worth the money.

One of the reasons it's a "limited edition", I guess.

Have you tried the Adobe Photoshop Forum yet for questions about PS LE? I'm not suggesting you shouldn't post here but just plugging the Adobe Forum.

It really is a helpful forum with loads of technical stuff. In fact I'd go so far as to say it's second only to this forum. They can be a bit snooty to "Newbies." but on the whole, very helpful.
