Thanks! I was glad to get what I got. Babies are so hard to shoot! I had about 5 minutes and that was it.

Great set and congratulations. The two shots with parent/child are my favorites, though all of them are good.

I can't justify the 35L, but these shots are enough reason to at least consider a Sigma 30.

Absolutely superb, love the idea with the Muscles, but maybe you want to try white text on the photos instead of black on the white border? Not sure but love it none the less!

Nice ones, congrats on the baby. But I assume black sheet is pp to make it look black like that?

BTW - Fellow gator here, did my MS at UF during spurrier time.

Thanks everyone! Just showed these to the grandparents and they loved the one with my wife. They liked the one with me, if only I weren't in the frame. ;)

Andrew, I will try the text on black and make it white.

Thanks bobbyz. A lot of the black was done in camera. I shot in manual mode and underexposed the shot. With everything being black, the camera kept trying to expose for the sheet and make it gray. I also aimed the softbox across and outside of the frame. I did do some cloning where some of the sheet was visible.

I did my BA at UF at the end of the Spurrier era and at the beginning of the Zook era. Missed out on Urban and the Billy Donovan back to back.

yes, used the 35 @ f/2.8 @ 1/250 or 1/200 (can't remember). Cheetahbox 24 and a 580 ex II at 1/64 power to camera left at about 45 degrees above..
